Make-up classes
We understand today’s high-school students are extremely busy and may not be able to attend every single scheduled session.
The short version of our policy: Please let us know in advance that you won't make it to a class. We will tell you which other classes you can attend as well as offer you a spot in our Mon to Thu (4PM to 7PM) group tutoring program. We cannot guarantee that the options will fit your schedule, however. We cannot offer private tutoring in exchange for a group lesson without charging the regular rate for private tutoring. We do not prorate or refund for missed classes. We also ask that you make up this missed class within 30 days of the scheduled completion date of the course.
More information:
Our general make-up policy is that we try to be as flexible as we can to find an equivalent session for you to attend. We just ask that you let us know in advance. We also know that things happen, and if something comes up and you can't let us know in advance, please let us know right away.
We offer the following options for making up a missed class:
You can see all the courses that we're offering here.
All make-ups should be planned, so please let us know in advance of classes you will miss by emailing us at hello@testmagic.com. We will send you the URLs of the class schedules we have available, and you can see what fits your schedule. Please make up your course within a reasonable time (no more than 30 days after the end of your scheduled end date) and get all your studying in to maximize the momentum from the course.
Please note that we cannot offer private tutoring as a make-up class, nor can we offer any refund for missed classes.

We offer the following options for making up a missed class:
- You "pre-study" the material for that session on your own and then come to our Homework Boost program for additional assistance and questions. The schedule for this program is Mon to Thu, 4PM to 7PM on SFUSD school days during the school year. Note: Advance notice required; we request that you ask for assistance with your course material only (not with outside material, such as homework).
- You may attend another session of another SAT course that we are currently offering or the next course that we offer. For example, if you miss Math Module 2, and we are teaching Math Module 2 at another time, you’re welcome to attend that session. Please note that every single session is different in its own way, and the session you attend will not be an exact replacement of the session you missed.
