Summer SAT prep classes for 2009

SAT Prep classes at our Irving St center:

The Accelerated SAT Prep class is similar to our SAT Prep course, but we cover more material and do so at a faster pace. The Accelerated SAT Prep class material also covers the harder questions that students may encounter on the SAT. This class is recommended for students with a relatively high GPA (3.5 or better) or who expects to score higher than approximately 2000 points on the SAT.

SAT Prep If you're new or relatively new to the SAT, this class will prepare you for the Verbal and Math sections. In this course, you will learn what the SAT expects from you. Sat Prep (Focus: Writing) The SAT Prep (Focus:Writing) class focuses specifically on the Writing Section of the SAT test. In this class, students will study material specifically designed to raise their scores on the SAT Writing Section: the SAT essay, English grammar, and improving paragraphs. Students will also write more actual SAT essays in this class than in any other class. 9:00am - NoonTue2
Sat Prep (Focus: Subject Math) If you've taken the SAT before and are confident that you'll do well on the Verbal Section of the SAT, and you want to focus only on the Math Section of the SAT, the SAT Prep (Focus: Math) class is designed for you. You will focus on the hardest math problems (word problems, functions, tricky problems, etc.). This class is designed such that it can be taken in addition to the SAT Prep class. 9:00am - NoonThu3
