Firstly, global technical progress proves the necessity of studying math and science. If it is possible to talk to a person who lives in the 17th century and describe him all our cars, comfortable houses and other facilities he could hardly believe this. The fact that changing and developing environment requires high technical skills and globalization of the world proves that studying science and math is of great importance.

On the other hand, it is art, music and literature that make our life happier, give us a possibility to express ourselves and relax. It is them that make us "humans". People say- "beauty will save the world." It is important to keep smiling, enjoying the nature around us. Those are the reasons to study art and literature.

Finally, everyone in this universe is unique. Some of us like to study math and science, the others find pleasure in art and literature. In spite of the fact that there are reasons supporting studying technical science and subjects like art and literature it can not be stated which ones are of greatest importance.
